Community Investment

The Goldsboro Elks believes charity begins at home.  To date, the lodge has donated both funding and volunteer time in support of local organizations doing great work in our community.

Military and First Responder Appreciation

The Goldsboro Elks are proud supporters of our nation's military and first responders to include our neighbors and friends at Seymour Johson Air Force Base.  The lodge seeks to honor our military and first responders by participating and sponsoring various events throughout the year to include NC Freedom Fest (scroll down), the Purple Heart Banquet, and holiday celebrations with the Kinston Veteran's Home.  Ultimately, our lodge's goal is to assure the sacrifices of those who served are never forgotten.

Scholarships

The Goldsboro Elks believe in investing in the education of our youth and military family members.  To date, the lodge has awarded over $100,000 in scholarship money.

Elks & Speedway Give Back Campaign

5 August 2022 - Working with Speedway, an in-kind donation campaign resulted in almost 1000 hot dogs and pizzas being donated to the Boys and Girls Clubs of Wayne County.  In celebration of this successful partnership campaign, the lodge hosted an end of summer luncheon for club members and staff. and made an additional contribution to the club of $500.
